Sad to say that another icon has died... Yves Saint Laurent died Sunday at his house in Paris. He was 71 years old having brain cancer about a year. "Chanel gave women freedom" and Saint Laurent "gave them power" being said by Berge whom a close source of Mr. Laurent A funeral ceremony is scheduled for Thursday at the Saint Roch Church in central Paris. Saint Laurent's ashes will be placed in a vault in the Majorelle botanical garden in Marrakech, Morocco.

The Princess of the "A" is back! Ciara is ready to release her third album entitled "Fantasy Ride" Rather than one standard CD, the music will be spread across three separately packaged discs, all connected together, each with five to six songs catering to a different theme. The first disc is called "Groove City" and will contain slow songs like "Promise," while the second disc is called "Crunktown" and includes tracks to her single "Goodies." Finally, the up-tempo "Kingdom of Dance" will showcase Ciara's, freestyle songs. "High Price" featuring Ludacris which suppose to be released in July is the first single but, after Click Flash being released I'm not quite too sure. This summer jam gives me "Summer Time with the sunroof down and having FUN!". She says she going to take you through Crunk Town and Kingdom of Dance. The album is scheduled for to be dropped sometime in September. She's working with Neyo, The Dream, Lil Jon, Polow Da Don, T-pain and more. I can't wait to hear what Ciara has in stored for us again. After hearing 2 of his uptempo tracks i thought he was taking it A-town style but as i started to listen to more of the songs he was being the same usher (complaining!) Yes! My phone upgrade is finally here. Ugh, for the record...LGs are a joke. Sure they are IT when they first drop but after a year...my LG is definitely a joke. Any type of flip phone or one that slides with a keypad is pretty skanty to me now. Very out of date.

...Maidenform has revealed the Backless Bra designed by Elaine Cato, a native of Nashville, and runner up of ABC's American Inventor last June. Though she didn't win the $1 million dollar grand prize this bra should
prove to be her own personal stake to fame.

Cato said she came up with the idea when looking for a bra to wear with a backless pantsuit for a New Year's Eve party. "But since I had last worn it, bra-less, I had two children, and my cup size had changed." She couldn't find a backless bra anywhere, so she sat down at her dining room table to design one herself, taking apart one of her regular bras and to create a new backless version, which she further developed on "American Inventor" as the 6-in-1 bra.

This last week has been an event filled one indeed.
There was the Paparazzi Society dinner last Saturday night. A "wish you were there" moment indeed. Good Food, good music, good company, conversation etc. etc. etc.
There was the letters that a few have been patiently waiting for. There was the many projects being wrapped up. There were plans being made, meetings being met && conference [calls] being made. Not to mention the very exclusive evenings [to that, thats all i will allow myself to say]

&& then there was today. A few of the staff here at PMqn ran around all morning like chickens with our heads cut off getting final touches on a few things. When we were finally allowed some time to breathe we found ourselves at where els but a tattoo shop. [among other places]

so by my count that's four who are now

With summer practically here and Fall fast approaching, thoughts of school dance around in my head. wardrobes, activities, studies, && socializing...

all of this anticipating has reverted me back to the highschool daze,
the time when coolkids and nerds roamed the halls, when you were coordinating with your friends on what you were going to wear to the football game.
Way back when. A time you might remember just as recently as last summer [shout out class of 07]

but im not refering to then.
im speaking on the early/mid 90's. When id spend the days and nights with my old cousins[their highschool/college daze]. traveling to their football games, to their events && social gatherings. back when girls were rocking dookie braids and boys had those stonewashed jeans and chucks...

Hearing all the talk about HBCU's for the first time and all that they had to offer. All of the prestige. "Man i wanna go to a abcu" that was me. not really understanding at that time what Historically Black College/University education was all about. But loving all the benefits i reaped from it...family and friends so many years my senior.

wrapping up this one chapter in my life, and preparing [with full force] to begin this other one. i leave you with one of my favorite songs/clips from on of my all time favorite movies. Top of the list indeed

Listening to and then watching this video gave way to so many past emotions of being a black person, of being a black male. of forever having to be and stay conscious of my skin color not just when around my white counterparts but my lighterskinned "black" peers and counterparts as well. Angry is what i felt many a day. Confusion on why a world would praise this ignorance that we as "black ppl" perperurate on a daily basis. Why did i feel so out of touch because i was never one to re inforce a steriotype...

Now this video below was posted second so as not to take away from his use of the word nigger, for the sake of the spoken word it is not so much as a noun as it is a description of something that we've become to comfortable with, explained by the above video.

we attended the Art Nouveau Magazine's intimate concert

Ok so there's been say so on my where abouts for the next couple of years and what not and some inquiries. I've either been leading some on you on or you've been dabbling too much in my life. One way or another...I still have the last hear ye hear ye!

With that being said, I've created you an official draft of my own itinerary! Aren't you so so lucky? Ahem and it goes a little something like this:

I will be living and resting in Washington D.C.!-
How long? Bitch I don't know...I'd like to spend my last "schooling" years and an additional few to see if I'd want to adapt there for good.

So the last week and a half has really been hard for me. Right about now im just trying to maintain and keep myself together. Basically Going thru, and just trying to take it one day at a time. Nobody really knows ALL of the reasons why im not completely at ease but honestly I dont feel like explaining. I dont feel like saying whats wrong and then later on its used against me. But im strong and I know all of this will just come to an end.

I had to get away from Metro for a while. Just to clear my head, and get grounded. I needed some inspiration to get me back on my feet. I've been doing alot of research and just taking care of some business. Some people just dont understand how much a person can go through in such a short time. Some people dont even know how blessed they are, and how to take advantage of all of their opportunities. But anywho....
Im just laxing thinking about Music and a couple of other unnamed characters. I miss him, and I just hope everything is ok with him.

Im my room with talking to my niece Chyrish Endurance. She's such a good listener.

She makes sure that she say "Uh huh, auntie" after I complete my story. I cant wait til they meet each other, im sure they will be the best of friends.
Cleaning up has been my favorite past time. Cleaning everything just to past the time.
Reading, writing and just doing anything positive that will keep my mind in a good place. My "blogging" glasses has def. been useful.
