This weekend Professional Mannequin celebrated one of its good friend, and loyal readers, Birthday. Sam Chong celebrated her birthday all weekend capped off by wining and dinning at one of Professional Mannequin's favorite restaurant && meeting spots PF Changs located in the high end district of Dunwoody. often times we forget

often times we do forget,
but let's try our best not to.
we owe it to ourselves to take a step back
and re examine the things we do and
the things we say on a day to day basis.
EX:

Listening to and then watching this video gave way to so many past emotions of being a black person, of being a black male. of forever having to be and stay conscious of my skin color not just when around my white counterparts but my lighterskinned "black" peers and counterparts as well. Angry is what i felt many a day. Confusion on why a world would praise this ignorance that we as "black ppl" perperurate on a daily basis. Why did i feel so out of touch because i was never one to re inforce a steriotype...

Now this video below was posted second so as not to take away from his use of the word nigger, for the sake of the spoken word it is not so much as a noun as it is a description of something that we've become to comfortable with, explained by the above video.

Leon and i headed down to Walker street
this past Sunday. For what you ask, to be scene.
we attended the Art Nouveau Magazine's intimate concert
"Scene Kids" it was...it was. i enjoyed myself. We got a few laughs in. Found me a new cd to play while studying around the house. We met a few nice folks among those were the Editors of Art Nouveau Magazine. :)

The entertainment: Yelawolf, Mach5 & Muffy...
When i tell you it was entertaining you'd better believe me.

Let me check my Itinerary

Ok so there's been say so on my where abouts for the next couple of years and what not and some inquiries. I've either been leading some on you on or you've been dabbling too much in my life. One way or another...I still have the last hear ye hear ye!

With that being said, I've created you an official draft of my own itinerary! Aren't you so so lucky? Ahem and it goes a little something like this:

Spring 2009 (or before...depends on when the "Mecca" wants me!)
I will be living and resting in Washington D.C.!-
How long? Bitch I don't know...I'd like to spend my last "schooling" years and an additional few to see if I'd want to adapt there for good.


And that's IT!...shit. Of course it's other places I'd like to spill into but I can only list the definite one for now. My future is a mystery like whether or not OJ killed Nicole. Live with it...while I live with me. And do not worry about Fruit Materials unless you are donating or contributing your dollars.

I was fortunate enough to work with SONY MUSIC on a photoshoot this past weekend

it was really cool. fun and all that.
the people were really nice. met a few models,
fellow stylist, a photographer, some makeup artist and
hairstylist. it was a very good look.
